The Collection
In Elisabeth’s world, color reigns supreme. Her art has always been bold and vibrant. This new work is fresh and daring, sweeping shadows and dancing light evoke the spirit of her breathtaking landscapes, real and imagined. From a field of snapdragons to the top of Mullholland, in the wide open spaces of abstraction, these places have never felt more real. They invite you to reflect and you don’t want to leave.
The Goal
The ultimate goal is to share how color and motion flows through and impacts our daily lives. Every piece of art has a story some more obvious than others. Elisabeth's goal is to share a bit of her visual world with others.
Back Story
Elisabeth began exploring abstract painting while living on the island of Maui after her 4th baby was born. The fluid insanity of motherhood with the amazingly splendid backdrop of Maui created the perfect storm. Skip forward almost 30 years and the fluid insanity now co-exists with a calm gratitude of a full and happy life.

Of course each is different, from a couple of hours to days. Weeks on occasion.
Realistic answer is - all of my years, all my cumulative life experience and all my trial and error, goes into each piece.
